Years ago at the suggestion of a family therapist, I reluctantly embraced texting to improve my relationship with my kids. This simple piece of advice may have cost me $250, but it was money well spent. What I wasn’t prepared for was the occasional hilarious misunderstandings due to my lack of fluency with their lingo.
